Genitals
The reproductive and sexual organs of males and females. Also sometimes known as genitalia.
Glans clitoris
The sensitive tip of the clitoris.
Glans penis
The sensitive tip of the penis.
Graft (punch)
A full thickness graft, usually circular, for transplanting skin containing hair follicles to a bald area (such as a scalp).

Hemangiomas
A reddish-purple birthmark. Flat types are also known as port wine stains.
Hysterectomy/Oophorectomy
The removal of female reproductive organs and gonads.
Incision
A cut made with a knife, especially for surgical purposes.
Inframammary
Underneath the breast. Indicates the location of one of the possible incisions for breast enlargement, namely, under the breast.
Jowl
The fleshy part of the cheek that begins to hang below the lower edge of the jaw as one ages. The front edge of the jowl is the marionette line.
Labia majora
The fatty pads of tissue lying on either side of the vaginal opening and inner lips. Also known as major (or outer) lips.
Labia minora
The folds of skin on either side of the vaginal entrance, between the outer lips, that enclose the clitoris and the vaginal opening. Also known as minor (or inner) lips.

An injury or wound
Liposuction
A procedure designed to remove excess fat through a suctioning process. Although it is not a substitute for weight loss, liposuction is an effective way of changing the body's shape and contour.

The slippery fluid secreted from the walls of the vagina during sexual arousal; also available in synthetic form to supplement or replace the natural version. The synthetic version is also used for activites that require lubrication such as anal intercourse.

Macrogenia
Medical term for a large chin. If a line is drawn from the midpoint of the nasal bridge tangent to the front edge of the upper lip, this line should touch the front edge of the chin in a male. In a female, the chin should be back about 5mm from this line.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Technology to detect breast cancers or other abnormalities in the breast including breast implant rupture and leakage. The technique involves the use of radio waves to take pictures of sections of body tissue.
Malar Pouches
Puffiness or bulges occuring over the cheek bones, separate from the eyelids. This condition is not treated by blepharoplasty since the problem does not involve the eyelid.
Mammoplasty
Any plastic surgery procedure performed on the breast.
